Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab
Electra Memorial Hospital offers outpatient cardiac and pulmonary rehab for patients with cardiac and pulmonary conditions. The goals of these outpatient programs are to improve the physical and emotional health, fitness and quality of life for patients with cardiac and pulmonary conditions. Our staff of nurses and therapists provides support and encouragement to help our patients achieve their personal goals.
Who Needs Cardiac Rehab?
People who would benefit from our cardiac rehabilitation program include those who are recovering from or living with the following:
- Heart Attack
- Heart Bypass Surgery
- Heart Stenting
- Heart Valve Surgery
- Congestive Heart Failure
- Heart Disease
- High risk of developing heart disease
Who Needs Pulmonary Rehab?
People who would benefit from our pulmonary rehabilitation program include those who have or are recovering from pulmonary illnesses such as:
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
- Chronic Bronchitis
- Pulmonary Fibrosis
- Other lung conditions and disorders
